Strategic Plan of the North Coastland Nature Network Site

The Plan supports the strategy of qualifying and enhancing the coastland of the municipalities of  Caminha, Esposende and Viana do Castelo (that integrate the Nature Network 2000 Site of the North Coastland) aiming to: (i) be a reference to the several projects to be implemented, regarding the coherence of the interventions and the access to funding instruments; (ii) implemnt the recent strategic orientations established for the coastal territory of Portugal integrated in the "Basic elements of the Strategy for the Coastal territories of Portugal"; (iii) ensure the homogeneity and a vision for the Nature Network Site as a whole, overcoming the inequality of knowledge about the coastal area of Esposende and about the other territories and giving place to an integrated management of the whole coastal territory and to eventual extension of the Coastal North Natural Park.
