Territorial and Market Strategic Study for tourism in Minho region: Reinventing tourism in Minho

The study is based on a methodology in which the market opportunities concept and the matching between these opportunities and the resources and specific assets regional endowment is the core element. The diagnosis identifies the geostrategic resources that should support the strategy and the characterization of the tourism supply and demand in the region. The intervention strategy takes into account the national and international environment and presents a proposal of a mission, vision and strategic objectives. The strategy targeted at organizing the tourism supply  presents the products to sell, the matrix "products-targeted publics", the tourism information system and strategic guidelines for the communication and marketing strategy. Four priority axis organize the action plan: Tourism and Spatial Planning; Tourism DEvelopment; Tourism promotion and Tourism Investments.  A synthesis of the study has been published as an autonomous document.
