This is a strategic plan designed for the Association of 16 municipalities in Algarve (AMAL) in strict correspondance with the regional strategy Algarve 2014-2020 presented by the Comissão de Coordenação e Desenvolvimento Regional do Algarve to orient the implementation of the Regional Operational Programme Algarve 2014-2020. The Strategic Plan has been elaborated through a bottom-up strategy of involvment of municipalities and other regional stakeholders usually cooperating with municipalities, being a complement of the top-down approach that inspires the Regional Strategy proposed by the CCDR-Algarve.
The plan is composed of three main parts: prospective diagnosis, territorial development integrated strategy and action plan with concrete projects that AMAL and the municipalities expecto to submit to the Regional Operational Programme.
