The prospective study corresponds to the regional dimension of the National System of Anticipation of Qualifications, which is based on a prospective approach to the intermediate qualifications offered by regular and professional schools through vocational courses. The methodology has been conceived and implemented by Quaternaire Portugal to ANQEP (National Agency for Qualification and Vocational Education), combining in-depth analysis of the labour market at NUTS II and III level with qualitative analysis involving intermunicipal communities, vocational schools, regular schools offering vocational courses, employers, municipalities and other regional and local institutions. The result of the study aims to establish priorities for the supply of vocational courses in the school year of 2016-17, initiating a pioneer process of territorializing the offer of this type of qualifications.
