The prospective study of intermediate skills needs (ISCED level 4) to be tackled by vocational courses offered by regular and vocational schools, focused on the territory of (NUTS III) Dão-Lafões in Centro Region, corresponds to the regional dimension of National System of Prospective Qualifications (in portuguese SANQ). It is based ion a methodology conceived and implemented by Quaternaire Portugal to ANQEP (National Agency for Qualification and Vocatiopnal Education)) and combines in-depth analysis of the labour market of Centro Region and of NUTS III Dão-Lafões with qualittaive analysis carried out with strong participation of stakeholders engaged in vocational courses such as employers, regular and vocational schools offering vocational courses, municipalities, entrepreneurial associations and employment public service centres. The result of the study defines priorities for the vocational courses to be offered by regular and professional schools in the school year of 2016-2017.
