This network of cities, created with the support of National Urban Policy POLIS XXI, gathers five municipalities in the Alentejo Littoral region: Alcácer do Sal, Grândola, Santiago do Cacém, Sines e Odemira. The network associates also the Intermunicipal Community and the Touristic Resorts Association.
The project consisted in several networking activities, both of internal (among the five municipalities and municipal technical bodies) and external (envolving other regional entities) nature. These activities were of two kind: internal capacitation workshops (dealing with a vision for the tourism sector in the region) and technical-scientific public events, as seminars and conferences.
