The Polo de Fagilde is an expansion of the Business Zone of Mangualde, a municipality in the region of Viseu-Dão Lafões (Centre of Portugal). It is an area of about 90 ha, adjacent to a logistic and industrial concentration where two relevant units (Patinter and Costa Iberica) are installed. Designing the implementation strategy of this pole, in the framework of the Regional Operational Programme Centro 2020, this work was carried out by a partnership led by AdQuadratum, including Quaternaire Portugal. Such strategy is based on the structuring of a system of áreas of economic development inserted in the urban territory and articulated with the network of main accessibilities to the region. This is a model coherent with the Centre of Portugal regional research and innovation strategy for smart specialisation and investment attraction strategy of NUTS3 Viseu -Dão Lafões.
