Castilla y León-Norte de Portugal 2007-2013 Integrated Cooperation Plan

The study has been developed to support a new phase for the inter-regional and trans-border cooperation, considering the guidelines presented by the CCDRN regarding the the inter-regional and trans-border cooperation and the Regional Programming Strategy Norte 2015.  The Douro Mission Unit Action Programme and the Junta de Castilla y León project called Cúpulas del Duero. It identifies the different cooperation strategies proposed for the different cooperation spaces: regional, transnational, inter-regional and transborder; indicates the structural factors that facilitate or block the cooperation initiatives and the already developed projects; it also presents the 2007-2013 programming period strategic framework discussing the role of cooperation to foster a new territorial development axis that integrated the international role of Douro region.
