Strategic Plan of the DOC DOURO, DO PORTO and Terras Durienses Wines

The work has elaborated three reports. The first one presents a strategic survey based on the evaluation of trends at three levels: national and world wine market; Douro and Port wine sector; most relevant markets. The sector analysis is broad and diversified and it encompasses the viticulture structure, the entrepreneurial and cooperative structure, the institutional and regulation framework and the R&D activities. The survey synthesis is organized through a SWOT analysis and the identification of challenges to be tackled by the sector. The second report presents the strategic proposals directed to the sector, with a proposal of mission, vision, values and strategic priorities, priority intervention axis and operational goals and action guidelines.  The third report presents the market strategy focused on the national market, USA and United Kingdom.
