The work consisted of technically assisting the project team led by Professor Emílio Fernandéz of Vigo University through the participation of the President of Quaternaire Portugal, Dr. António Manuel Figueiredo and targeted at conceiving and writing the chapter on strategy of the Climatlantic project. The strategy proposed is based on the idea of transforming the Atlantic regions particpating in the project in a new growth space inspired in the transition towards a low carbon economy.
