The study aimed at supporting in strategic and economic terms the proposal presented by the AMTSM to the Structural Funds cofinancing within the framework of the Regional Operational Programme Norte 2014-2020, concerning acessibility infrastructures that serve two entreprises location areas in the municipality of Arouca and requalificatuion operations of those areas. Beyond the analysis of the productive and entreprenurial system of EDV in which the entreprises location areas are embedded, the study encompassed the following themes: analysis of the conformity of EDV' s productive base and the strategic options established by RIS 3 Norte 2014-2020; estimation of the private investment to be made in the targeted area till 2020 induced by the project; study on the economic impact and estimated results of the project; demonstration of the economic rationale of the operation; demonstration of how the project will contribute to selection criteria used for the allocation of funds; action plan and financing model of the operation.
