The study elaborated for the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (LMA) applies and develops the methodology for territorialising the prospective of intermediate skills needs to be supplied by the level IV Vocational Courses, that has been previously designed by the QP team for ANQEP. The methodology encompasses an exaustive analysis of the labour market in LMA, of vacancies observed in the market and of recruitment neeed revaaled by employees and involved a deep and diversified work with Secondary schools offering Vocational Courses, deputy councils charged of education issues and other entities such as entrepreneurial associations, public employment services and trade unions. The result of the study is a proposal of 3 levels of priorities of intermediate skills to be offered by Vocational Courses.
