The participation of Quaternaire Portugal in the elaboration of the Recarei Urban Development Master Plan consisted of elaborating the socioeconomic and characterization of public space.

The area covered by the plan is located in the municipality of Matosinhos, a municipality of the Porto metropolitan area. The intervention area is approximately 58 ha.

Until the mid-1960s the street in Recarei assumed as one of the main arteries linking the city of Porto, towards the North (EN13 Porto-Viana do Castelo), noting that a dynamic and commercial, industrial and residential attractiveness significant: at the time, assumed a status of Recarei "gateway" of the Porto metropolitan area

The collaboration involved participation in the definition of territorial strategy and planning proposal to advocate.
