The main goal of the study was to conceive an intervention model that promotes the development of the SME of agriculture sector and use training as a tool to meet their development needs. Two approaches were considered: direct qualification of SMEs and indirect empowerment of SMEs by improving skills in Agricultural Associations (support services to SME providers).
The study used a set of quantitative and qualitative methodologies that benefited from different stakeholders collaboration.
